Get Shady Workshop - Expression of Interest

Possible is a charity which supports ordinary people to take climate action.

We are looking for people who live on or use Manbey Grove in Maryland, Newham as a walking, wheeling or cycling route to take part in two workshops during November 2025.

The workshops will be delivered by Active Travel Academy, University of Westminster, and Possible. During the workshops we will explore themes of heat waves, walkability, accessibility and urban greening.

Participant selection will be anonymous. We aim to select a group of 8-10 people which includes a range of different views, demographics and experiences. Each participant will receive £15 per hour for their participation.

This work is funded by the City Bridge Foundation.
