Kerbside Greening workshops - Expression of interest
Possible is a charity which supports ordinary people to take climate action.
We are looking for people who live on or use Sebert Road, Forest Gate, as a walking, wheeling or cycling route to take part in two upcoming workshops. Our workshops will run from 5pm til 7pm on Wednesday 4th February and Wednesday 11th February, and will take place at Woodgrange School, E7 0NJ. Participants will be expected to attend both workshops.
The workshops will be delivered by Active Travel Academy, University of Westminster, and Possible. During the workshops we will explore themes of heat waves, walkability, accessibility and urban greening.
Participant selection will be anonymous. We aim to select a group of 8-10 people which includes a range of different views, demographics and experiences. Each participant will receive £30 per workshop for their participation.
This work is funded by the City Bridge Foundation.
Deadline to apply: 5pm, Monday 2nd February
Some activities during the workshop will be audio recorded. The anonymised recordings will be used for research purposes and deleted once the final project report has been published. We will also take photographs during the workshop, but you will have the option to decline being photographed
