Kerbside Greening workshops - Expression of interest

Possible is a charity which supports ordinary people to take climate action.

We are looking for people who live on or use Vincent Street E16, Canning Town, as a walking, wheeling or cycling route to take part in two upcoming workshops. Our workshops will run from 3.30-5.30pm on Tuesday 9th June and Tuesday 16th June at Grow Box on Vincent Street. We welcome expressions of interest from families - the workshops will be suitable for adults and children aged 8+. We can also provide activities and childcare for younger children if required.

The workshops will be delivered by Active Travel Academy, University of Westminster, and Possible. During the workshops we will explore themes of heat waves, walkability, accessibility and urban greening.

Participant selection will be anonymous. We aim to select a group of 8 adults (including some with children) which includes a range of different views, demographics and experiences. Each adult will receive £30 per workshop for their participation.

This work is funded by the City Bridge Foundation.

Deadline to apply: 5pm, Monday 25th May.

*Please note that participants will be required to attend both of the workshops

Some activities during the workshop will be audio recorded. The anonymised recordings will be used for research purposes and deleted once the final project report has been published. We will also take photographs during the workshop, but you will have the option to decline being photographed
